Kayla Solinsky
Executive Director
Kayla Solinsky is the Executive Director of Macbeth Academy. She has been an educator for over 12 years and believes that online education is the future of global education. Outside of work, Kayla is a mother of two boys, is an avid gardener reads science fiction, watches Star Trek, and goes on weekly nature hikes with her family.

Anna Gertzen
Assistant Head of School
Mrs. Anna Gertzen received her Bachelor of Science from Liberty University, followed by a Master’s of Art in Teaching from Johns Hopkins. She has been in education for over 8 years. Mrs. Gertzen taught in public schools for 6 years – in grades ranging from 1st to 5th grade. Before becoming Assistant Head of School, Mrs. Gertzen was Team Leader for 5 years and helped with many initiatives including creating a new discipline policy, revamping the Safety Patrol program, starting a new team and being part of an ambassador program for the county. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Gertzen loves to spend time with family, traveling and reading a good book by the pool.
